Retail Store

RISE Equipment Recycling Center processes donated office equipment and furniture to sell at a reduced price to non-profit organizations, their clients, and low income familes and their children.

The retail store is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. Check the Events page on this website for information on upcoming sales and recycling events.

Refurbishing Center

Computers that are donated to the Recycling Center are evaluated for functionality and compatibility with Microsoft Registered Refurbisher (MRR) donated software. If a computer is refurbishable, it is cleaned and repaired and the hard drive is wiped clean of all data and programs. The computer is loaded with a licensed Microsoft Windows XP Professional Operating System and Microsoft Office 2007 Suite Basic.

Refurbished computer systems (computer, CRT monitor, mouse, and keyboard) are provided at a discount to qualified individuals or to not-for-profit organizations.

Privacy Assured: Computer hard drives are guaranteed wiped clean or destroyed.

Dennis Davis (left) receives an award for ten years of service as a volunteer technician in the refurbishing department. Mr. Davis and other volunteers have enabled the Recycling Center to donate hundreds of refurbished computers to area families.
